Latest state-of-the art polyurethane casting machine for industrial rollers

Machines used for manufacturing both small and large rollers using polyurethane. A ribbon of liquid urethane is applied to a rotating roller and moved across the cylindrical surface. The method is somewhat similar to turning, but the material is applied instead of being removed. It is possible to build layers to different thicknesses for subsequent machining to accurate dimensions.

(1) Unlike the existing TDI-Prepolymer, the polythene raw material is MDI-Prepolymer.

(2) In particular, MDI is considerably more sensitive and reactive to moisture than TDI, so careful handling is required.

1. How to Work with Raw Materials

1-1 Preparing Raw Materials

(1) Pre-heat the polythene substrate and curing agent drum in an electric oven.

(2) The heating temperature is 45℃ for 10 hours preheating.

(3) It's a good idea to preheat the hardener drum by rotating it.

(3) It should be aged at room temperature for at least a week to achieve optimal properties.

Use a spring hose to vacuum into the tank.
